What we’re looking for…

As a Product Manager - Digital Marketing & Innovation Technology, you will architect the 2–3 year technology foundation for AG Barr’s digital marketing maturity, D2C evolution, and new product pipeline. This is the most forward-looking role within the CDTO, requiring a leader who thrives in ambiguity, uses sharp product discovery to shape unformed requirements, and turns emerging technology into direct commercial impact.

We are looking for an engaging and inspiring individual to step into this crucial role. You will play a key part in influencing, improving, and understanding the effectiveness of our increased marketing investment, while also informing and enabling our innovation pipeline. With both of these areas acting as key growth drivers for the business right now, this is a brilliant opportunity to come in and genuinely make a difference.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Own the Marketing & Technology Roadmap: Lead the strategic tech direction for marketing automation, campaign management, social tools, and D2C foundations to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Modernise Innovation Tooling: Partner with R&D to optimise stage-gate processing, portfolio tracking, and ideation platforms to accelerate our growth pipeline.
  • Apply Product Discovery: Utilise assumption mapping, rapid prototyping, and pilots to build grounded roadmaps where requirements are still forming.
  • Drive Build-vs-Buy Decisions: Evaluate external vendors and deliver commercially sound platform investment recommendations to marketing leadership and the CCO.
  • Govern Consumer Data Privacy: Ensure all digital marketing and data collection platforms strictly adhere to GDPR and consent management regulations.
  • Engage and Inspire Teams: Align, influence, and excite ambitious commercial, brand, and R&D leaders, ensuring technology capability matches business aspirations.

What you’ll bring...

The successful candidate will have;

  • Proven product management experience spanning digital marketing technology, campaign management, or D2C platforms.
  • An inspiring and engaging communication style, with the ability to influence stakeholders and bring people on a digital transformation journey.
  • A strong product discovery mindset with a track record of defining roadmaps in highly ambiguous environments.
  • Sharp commercial acumen, with the ability to link technology investments directly to marketing performance outcomes.
  • A solid understanding of data privacy, consumer consent management, and GDPR compliance.

And it would also be great if you can demonstrate:

  • Hands-on experience with modern MarTech tools, specifically enterprise platforms like Sprinklr.
  • Experience working within the FMCG or consumer goods digital landscape.
  • Working knowledge of innovation management processes and NPD stage-gate pipelines.

What we offer…

We believe in creating a diverse and inclusive culture where your voice can be heard.  Our skilled, loyal and committed people are critical to the future success of AG Barr which is why we are continually investing in our employees to develop their talent.

  • Flexible holiday trading
  • Flexible cash pot to spend on benefits
