More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

Wise Business is now becoming a substantial part of Wise's impact - we help over 700K active businesses move ~£25Bn per month and growing really fast. One of the main things we hear from our business customers is that while we help them move money by bank transfer, we don't yet have a strong solution for card and other local payment methods to get paid. That's what we are aiming to invest in now.

This is a great opportunity to take a product from 1 to 100. The domain currently consists of two teams - one owns growth and another owns risk and we have budgeted for one more team that you'll need to build immediately. And we'll keep investing and grow the domain. We know we have a right to win because we can cut cost of acquiring an international card payment by ~30-50%.

You will own the strategic direction of what we should build and how we go to market and help the teams execute on this vision. Acquiring domain is currently serving ~40K merchants with payment links and multi-currency invoices helping them get paid to ~£400M per quarter and growing 30%+ qoq. Almost all of this is non-card volume i.e. customers getting paid by 'Pay with Wise' or Bank transfers. Cards is ~30M per quarter. In upcoming quarter, we're looking to launch ecommerce checkout solutions

Qualifications

  • You’ve built products for Small businesses.
  • You’ve managed products at scale: Series B/£100M+ in volume/100K+ paying users.
  • You’ve taken a product to market: worked with marketing on a new product launch.
  • You have leadership experience, led 2 or more PMs.
  • Excellent product management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Customer-focus – You’ve worked on a product with thousands or even millions of customers, ran surveys or research and interviewed people who used your product. You’re able to define the customer impact of product investments you make.
  • You’re data-driven – You are able to dive into data to identify opportunities and then measure your impact. You prioritise the value you can add to customers, and can get the entire company behind you by telling stories with data.
  • You have a good technical understanding - help your team prioritise technological investments, tech debt reduction, bugs and new features.
  • Communicating clearly and logically – You are able to effectively frame problems to influence across the team. You are comfortable communicating with internal and external partners on challenging issues, whether in written format or at sprint planning with the team.
  • You’re not afraid of being a true lead, helping your team with hiring, learning skills you don’t know today to unblock things everywhere needed. You don’t stick to a “by the book” product manager role definition. You get it done.
