As a Product Engineer, you'll design and build impactful AI-driven products, collaborating closely with teams to shape solutions and manage end-to-end responsibilities.

Build product where AI meets real-world decisions.

At Electric Twin, a Product Engineer isn’t just someone who ships tickets.

You’re someone who shapes how the product works, how users think through problems, how systems respond, and how complex ideas turn into simple, powerful experiences.

We build decision infrastructure powered by AI and behavioural science. Software that helps organisations explore uncertainty and test ideas before they commit.

That means the work sits at an unusual intersection:

  • Real product thinking
  • Complex systems
  • Fast iteration
  • Meaningful outcomes

If you like owning problems end-to-end — not just implementing specs — you’ll feel at home here.

Why product engineers care about working here

Most AI products today are either research-heavy or feature-heavy.

    Electric Twin sits somewhere rarer:

    Product with depth.

    You’ll work on:

  • Designing flows where behaviour, prediction, and UX meet
  • Turning ambiguous questions into working software
  • Building systems that change how organisations actually operate
  • This isn’t a growth team tweaking buttons.

And it isn’t pure infra work hidden from users.

You’ll build product that people think with.

Why now

We’ve just entered a major growth phase: new funding, a growing customer base, and a platform still taking shape.

That creates a rare window for product engineers:

  • Architecture decisions still matter
  • Product direction is still evolving
  • The surface area for impact is huge
  • You won’t be joining to optimise something finished. You’ll help define what it becomes.

What you’ll do

You’ll help shape a platform that’s still taking form by working closely with founders, design, and engineering to move ideas into production quickly.

  • Build and ship features used by real customers
  • Own problems end-to-end, from early concept to production
  • Collaborate on product direction, flows, and behaviour
  • Translate ambiguity into clear, working software
  • Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, usability, and technical depth
  • Improve the system continuously as part of everyday delivery
  • You won’t get perfectly specified tickets. You’ll be trusted to think, decide, and ship.

How we work

We’re a small, senior London-based team, together in the office three days a week by design.

The work benefits from shared context, fast feedback, and real collaboration.

  • Small team, fast loops, few layers
  • Technical judgement is respected
  • Disagreement is normal. Good ideas win.
  • Strong bias toward execution and learning
  • No performative process. Just thoughtful people building meaningful systems together.

Who this role is for

You’re a product-minded engineer who enjoys ownership, ambiguity, and impact.

    You probably have:

  • 4+ years building production software
  • Experience working across the stack - front and backend
  • The ability to move forward without everything fully specified
  • A pragmatic approach to quality. You care about clean systems, but you ship
  • You’re not looking for a narrow role or rigid boundaries. You want responsibility, trust, and the chance to shape something still evolving.

Our stack

    React · Next.js · Python · FastAPI · SQL · GCP

Github, CI/CD, testing, and code review.

Your choice of Claude, Cursor or Codex.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive package designed to support you properly, not just on paper.

  • Competitive salary.
  • Meaningful equity in a high-potential seed-stage company.
  • Unlimited leave. Take the time you need.
  • Generous matched pension contributions.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Direct access to and collaboration with world-class founders.
  • Hybrid working from our London office (4 days in office a week).
  • Flexible working around life commitments. We value outcomes over presenteeism.
 What shapes your day-to-day

The things that actually shape your day-to-day.

Meaningful problems

We build systems that improve how organisations understand people and move forward. The work is complex, applied, and grounded in real-world impact, not AI theatre.

In-person by design

We’re in the office three days a week. Not because of policy, but because the work benefits from fast feedback, shared context, and time spent solving hard problems together.

We are flexible when life requires it and focus on impact rather than face time.

High standards, thoughtful people, low ego

You’ll work alongside thoughtful engineers, researchers and operators who care about clarity, good judgement, and building things properly. And who treat each other with respect.

Speed with intent

We move quickly, but deliberately. Fewer meetings, clear ownership, and decisions grounded in evidence.

A calm, focused environment

No performative hustle. Just smart people doing meaningful work and enjoying the process.
