Job Description

At Wise, we’re on a mission to empower people and businesses to make smarter, more transparent financial decisions. We operate as a collective of autonomous teams, trusting and empowering everyone to take ownership and execute on the things that drive the greatest impact for our customers. The search landscape is evolving rapidly, driven by generative AI, machine learning and changing customer discovery behaviours. We’re looking for a data-driven Paid Search Senior Executive to help us acquire net-new customers for Wise Business across multiple platforms, markets and languages. Your focus will be exclusively on B2B acquisition: helping new businesses and business owners discover Wise and sign up for a Wise Business account. You’ll bring at least 1–2 years of hands-on paid search experience and should be comfortable working with campaign data, identifying opportunities and turning insights into action. Experience in B2B or business-customer acquisition is highly preferred, alongside an understanding of how business needs, decision-making and conversion journeys can differ from those of personal customers. Working closely with other Paid Search specialists and cross-functional partners, you’ll contribute to the growth of Wise Business while developing your skills in managing increasingly complex, global campaigns.

Campaign Management and Optimisation

  • Manage and optimise paid search campaigns focused on acquiring net-new Wise Business customers and driving efficient business account sign-ups.
  • Work across large-scale Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts covering multiple markets, languages and business customer segments.
  • Monitor campaign performance, identify trends and recommend practical actions to increase sign-ups and improve acquisition efficiency.
  • Use keyword, search-term and audience insights to identify high-intent business customers and improve campaign relevance.
  • Support campaign launches and expansion into new markets, business segments and search or discovery channels.
  • Carry out regular account maintenance, quality assurance and performance checks to ensure campaigns are accurate and operating as intended.

AI and Automation

  • Use platform automation and AI-powered features, such as automated bidding, Performance Max and AI Max, to improve B2B campaign performance and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to make recurring campaign-management and reporting processes more efficient through automation, templates or improved ways of working.
  • Stay informed about developments in search marketing, generative AI and the ways business customers discover and evaluate financial services.

Testing and the Business Customer Experience

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of structured tests across ad copy, assets, targeting, bidding and landing pages.
  • Develop clear hypotheses, monitor results and turn findings into actionable recommendations for business customer acquisition.
  • Test messaging that responds to the different needs, challenges and motivations of businesses and business owners.
  • Use search-term, campaign and customer-behaviour insights to improve the relevance and clarity of Wise Business advertising.
  • Work with colleagues across Marketing, Wise Business, Product and Analytics to help prospective business customers find the information and services most relevant to their needs.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Maintain and improve campaign reports and dashboards, ensuring B2B acquisition performance is communicated clearly and accurately.
  • Analyse campaign data to identify optimisation opportunities, emerging business-customer segments, risks and areas requiring further investigation.
  • Track performance against relevant acquisition outcomes, including Wise Business account sign-ups and acquisition-efficiency targets.
  • Break down performance by market, campaign, audience, search intent and other relevant dimensions to understand what is driving results.
  • Support forecasting and campaign planning by providing reliable performance inputs and clearly explaining underlying assumptions.
  • Translate analysis into concise recommendations for both Paid Search colleagues and wider Wise Business stakeholders.

Collaboration and Development

  • Work closely with Paid Search team members, sharing B2B acquisition learnings and contributing to collaborative problem-solving
  • Partner with teams including Wise Business, SEO, Product, Analytics and Paid Marketing on projects that improve business customer acquisition and the wider sign-up journey.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and campaign areas, communicating progress, risks and results clearly.
  • Develop an understanding of Wise Business customers, their financial needs and the factors that influence their choice of provider.
  • Contribute to team documentation, best-practice processes and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Proactively seek feedback and develop your technical, analytical and commercial paid search skills.

Qualifications

  • You have 1–2+ years of experience running direct-response paid search campaigns for a fast-growing business or agency
  •  Experience acquiring B2B customers or working with business-focused products is highly preferred.
  • You have practical experience using Google Ads; experience with Microsoft Ads or other performance marketing platforms is beneficial.
  • You have a sound understanding of campaign structure, keyword management, search terms, audience targeting, ad copy and automated bidding.
  • You’re confident working with campaign data and using it to identify trends, diagnose performance changes and recommend next steps.
  • You understand conversion tracking, attribution and the core measurement principles behind acquisition campaigns.
  • You’re interested in understanding the different needs, search behaviours and decision-making journeys of businesses and business owners.
  • You have experience using spreadsheets and reporting or visualisation tools to analyse and communicate performance.
  • You’re interested in automation, generative AI and the ways new technologies are changing search marketing.
  • You have strong attention to detail and can manage multiple campaigns or tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • You communicate clearly and work collaboratively with colleagues from different disciplines.
  • You have a proactive, customer-focused mindset and are willing to take ownership, learn and test new approaches.
  • You understand how paid search contributes to the broader B2B customer journey and works alongside channels such as SEO, Paid Social and Affiliates.
