Owns product strategy, vision, roadmap, and delivery for EMEA-focused international insurance client and advisor experiences. Leads regulated digital and assisted journeys across licensed and referral models, partnering with legal, compliance, risk, engineering, and design. Drives AI-enabled capabilities, agile execution, platform rationalization, automation, KPI measurement, and continuous improvement across regional stakeholders.
We are seeking a tenured Product Owner to define and build the end-to-end client and advisor experience for international clients purchasing insurance, with a primary focus on EMEA. This role owns product strategy and execution, driving clear roadmaps and efficient technology delivery with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI.
Job responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap for international (EMEA-focused) insurance client and advisor experiences across digital and assisted channels.
- Define and deliver capabilities for both licensed and referral operating models, including journeys, handoffs, and controls.
- Translate regulatory, business, and client needs into prioritized requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and regional stakeholders to ensure compliant, scalable cross-border solutions.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled experiences (e.g., advisor copilots, personalized guidance, intelligent routing, next-best-action), with strong governance and measurement.
- Lead agile delivery with engineering and design teams; manage backlog, milestones, dependencies, and release readiness.
- Establish KPIs (conversion, referral completion, cycle time, advisor productivity, NPS, quality/compliance outcomes) and use data to iterate and improve.
- Identify opportunities to rationalize platforms, reduce manual work, and improve speed-to-market through reusable services and automation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of product management/ownership experience delivering digital client or advisor-facing platforms.
- Demonstrated experience building regulated customer journeys (financial services, insurance, wealth, or similar).
- Proven ability to operate across multiple distribution models (direct/agent/licensed and referral/partner handoff).
- Strong roadmap ownership, prioritization, and stakeholder management across regions and functions.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML productization (use-case framing, model risk considerations, measurement, and iterative improvement).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to simplify complex topics and drive decisions.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with EMEA insurance distribution, cross-border client onboarding/suitability, and related regulatory considerations.
- Prior work on advisor tooling (CRM, workflow, case management) and client purchase journeys.
- Familiarity with API-first architectures, identity/consent, document workflows, and analytics experimentation.
- EMEA language capability (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic) is a plus.
