Own V7’s product and brand design across its marketing site and product. Responsibilities include building the Framer site, designing product UI within a design system, defining motion and interaction patterns, creating new visual experiences, and partnering closely with engineering. The role also involves using AI-first tools such as Claude Design and Cursor to accelerate exploration, specifications, and implementation.

At V7, we’re building AI platforms that help humans do their best work, at incredible scale and speed. Our mission is to turn human knowledge into trustworthy AI, making complex tasks faster, smarter, and more accurate. We’re growing fast, backed by leading investors and AI pioneers (including the minds behind Transformers and Gemini).

The team you'll be joining and impact you'll have
  • You'll own how V7 looks and feels to the world, across both the marketing site and the product itself. This is a product and brand design role first: you'll be setting the visual direction, designing the product experience and making sure the two hang together.

  • Our design team is small and sits close to engineering. Designers here work directly with the people building the product, and the loop between a design decision and it appearing in the codebase is short.

  • A lot of this currently sits with contractors or is spread thinly across the team. You'll pull it in-house and become the person who owns the brand and the product's design language.

  • You'll help shape our design system and the front-end refactor that sits underneath it, defining the components and patterns everyone else builds on. Engineering will do the heavy lifting on implementation, but you'll be the one deciding what good looks like.

What you'll be doing from day one:
  • Own the marketing site end to end in Framer, including the parts most people skip: CMS collections, dynamic content, responsive behaviour and interaction states.

  • Design product UI against our design system, from early exploration through to polished, buildable specs, working alongside engineers rather than throwing designs over the wall.

  • Define motion and interaction: animation, empty and loading states, transitions, and the detail that makes a product feel finished. Where it's quicker to tweak it yourself in the codebase, you can.

  • Take on genuinely new surfaces that don't have a pattern yet, like visualising the Context Graph: nodes, edges, and how a knowledge graph should actually read on screen.

  • Run an AI-first workflow: exploring variants in Claude Design, generating specs in Cursor, using whatever tooling gets you from idea to something real fastest. Fast because of the tooling, not despite it.

Who you are
  • You're a product and brand designer with real craft. Your portfolio shows strong visual instincts and thoughtful product thinking, and you can hold a coherent direction across web, marketing and product.

  • You know Framer properly, CMS collections and all, and you can build a page that looks good and reads well without hand-holding, with the kind of animation and polish that lifts a brand.

  • You can work inside a design system: extending components, keeping things consistent, and knowing when something genuinely needs a new pattern versus reusing what's there.

  • You're comfortable enough around code that opening a pull request in Cursor or similar to fix a spacing issue or adjust a component doesn't scare you. That's a bonus, not the job. You're a designer who can get hands-on when it helps, not an engineer who happens to design.

  • You treat AI tooling as core to how you work, using it to amplify your output and move faster rather than keeping it at arm's length.

V7 champions equality and inclusion because diverse teams build better products. Don't check every box? Apply anyway — we value what makes you unique and will support you through the process, just let our Talent team know how they can help.
