Premier League Studios is seeking a Producer to join its award-winning Digital Originals team, creating standout content using everything at our disposal - from unrivalled access to players, matches and the Premier League’s extensive archive.
This role will turn strategic aims into content that lands with audiences, bringing core fans closer to the game, strengthening engagement with casual audiences, and attracting new fans through a mix of repeatable formats and high-impact original storytelling.

In November 2024, the Premier League announced it was establishing a new in-house media operations business launching at the start of the 2026/27 Premier League Season. Premier League Studios will be responsible for all international media content production and distribution, providing a best-in-class content service to the Premier League’s partners and millions of passionate fans around the world.

Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week, where possible. You will be expected to attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.

The role
Content & creative
  • Own projects end-to-end: from initial idea and story development through to shoot, edit, and final delivery.
  • Turn strategic priorities into compelling content that connects with audiences internationally and grow fandom, for Premier League licensees and Owned & Operated channels.
  • Work closely with editors to shape compelling edits that demonstrate strong editorial nous and platform best practice.
  • Identify and develop stories from access opportunities, archive material, contributors, and live football moments.
  • Regularly contribute ideas and creative thinking to the wider team, informed by a deep understanding of the best and latest work across the industry.

Production & delivery
  • Plan and manage shoots alongside our Production Management team, including crewing, logistics, access, and contributors.
  • Keep all stakeholders – both internally and within the Premier League - informed throughout the production process, proactively communicating progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Remain organised and adaptable in a fast-moving production environment.

Audience & insight
  • Create content with a clear understanding of audience behaviour, retention, and platform best practice. 
  • Understand how to structure and pace content effectively for different digital and social platforms.
  • Stay closely connected to evolving trends, formats, creators, and storytelling techniques across the industry.
  • Create content that excites existing fans, deepens engagement with casual audiences, and attracts new fans globally.

  • Creative - You have strong instincts for story and understand how to bring ideas to life through filming, scripting, structure, and edit.
  • Audience-obsessed - You understand what resonates with audiences and how to create content that earns attention and keeps viewers engaged.
  • Culturally aware - You stay close to the best work in the industry, with a strong point of view on what great looks like and why certain content cuts through.
  • Collaborative - You work well with editors, production teams, talent, and stakeholders, bringing positive energy and solutions where there are challenges.
  • Resilient - You’re comfortable taking feedback, adapting ideas, and working through production challenges calmly and constructively.
