Job Description

The key purpose of this role is to provide Procurement support and analysis for the Technology Procurement team. Your work will help to ensure we deliver at pace, minimise costs & provide maximum commercial benefit. 


You’ll be working across the major areas of Technology spend including Infra, Cyber, Data & Analytics, Sportsbook and End User Services. 


What you'll do 

  • Engage IT teams to understand business strategies 

  • Financial reporting of cost improvement on a P&L basis, interpreting CAPEX, OPEX, depreciation and cash flow 

  • Lead negotiations and full contract lifecycle for assigned spend 

  • Conduct RFI/P’s and analyse results 

  • Development of procurement opportunities (present and future pipeline) 

  • Support Senior Category Managers and Category Managers to compile Spend Reports; Contract Analysis and Spend Classification 

  • Assist Senior Category Managers to build Category Strategies using Data and Insight 

  • Own and support “Medium and Tail Vendor spend” – supplier and spend management 

  • Develop an understanding and knowledge of all industry specific technology solutions 

  • Become a key member of the IT community

  • Maximise contract compliance and spend under management 

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and maintains effective communication with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Build & own relationships with our Accounts Payable, Legal and Technical Compliance teams

Qualifications

Our ideal applicant has previous experience in Indirect Procurement, from a high-performance culture environment, and is hungry to grow in a Procurement Technology area at a fun, fast-growing business.

The successful applicant will require a mix of entrepreneurialism, creativity, administration and commercial logic.

  • Graduate education level desirable but not essential 

  • Project Management qualification desirable but not essential 

  • Ideally worked within a Procurement function for at least 2 years. IT Procurement experience desirable 

  • Experienced in both commercial and contract negotiation

  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and at pace 

  • Results orientated and self-driven individual with a desire to develop 

  • Strives to continuously improve performance 

  • Strong attention to detail & numerate 

  • Able to summarise information / data quickly and concisely so that recommendations can be made back to the Category Manager and Stakeholders

  • Good communication & organisational skills
