This is a key proactive role, central to the success of the Interior Design team, responsible for ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently from procurement through to delivery and installation whilst supporting the commercial success and profitability of client projects.

About the Role

The Procurement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing client projects and budgets in line with company procedures, with a primary focus on enhancing profitability across Interior Design projects. Working closely with designers, you will create financially accurate project cost estimates, maintain them throughout project lifecycles and ensure all procurement and financial records are accurately managed.

You will liaise with suppliers to procure products for client projects, raise sales and purchase orders through SAP, monitor deliveries and maintain accurate project trackers.

You will also:

  • Manage project budgets with exceptional attention to detail, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Track and reconcile customer payments, design fees and sales orders, ensuring financial documentation remains accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor project profitability by analysing sales and purchase orders and reporting on project performance.
  • Support project installations by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and escalating any issues where required.
  • Assist with trade reporting and maintain awareness of the department's order bank, billings and delivered trade.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, administrative teams, buying teams, suppliers and manufacturers to deliver outstanding client experiences.

About You

As a successful Procurement Coordinator, you will be an effective communicator with strong attention to detail and strong administration skills. You will have great customer service focus when dealing with both internal and external parties as well as excellent interpersonal skills and time management.

You will also have:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong financial and numerical skills with the ability to analyse budgets, margins and project profitability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a collaborative approach.
