Expedia Group’s ETSP Division is looking for a Process Analyst based in London to provide Telecom Expense Management and financial expertise in support of Global Technology Operations worldwide (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North America). The Analyst will report to the infrastructure Leadership team and will have close daily interaction with Finance, Accounting, Technical-Engineering, Procurement, and Vendor Management teams as well as with Calero, LLC, our 3rd party Telecom Expense Management BPO provider.

The core responsibilities of the Process Analyst include supporting the Senior Process Analyst in maintaining end-to-end process excellence in contracting, ordering, billing and cost-rationalization of technology services and their related expenses. The Process Analyst will collaborate with multiple internal and external business partners to deliver business continuity, process improvement and first-class expense management.

The Telecom Expense Management Team undertakes business critical functions supporting multiple brands and business units across EG. The team manages both provisioning and billing and all related administrative and finance functions. (2) There are approximately 250 billing accounts and more than 150 provisioning orders per year. In addition to day-to-day operational work such as MACD and invoice processing, the TEM team has a reporting role and is involved in both long and shorter-term projects on a continual basis. (3) The primary objective of the TEM Team is to perform industry best practices of effective telecommunications and technology management for enhancing operational efficiency and identifying opportunities to scale operations and reduce costs. The primary responsibility of the Analyst is to assist in the data collection and analysis of telecom billing, contracts, tracking of MACD orders, and maintaining inventory information for the purpose of conducting analysis on Data and Voice (telephony) services to identify potential cost savings and/or avoidance from telecom spend.

Expedia Group is seeking a talented Process Analyst to join the Technology team (Finance Corporate, Brands, Product & Technology). This individual will provide analytical support, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

This role will manage the telecom order to payment lifecycle, and inventory and reporting for our voice, internet and circuit expenses around the world. The Process Analyst will report to the Network infrastructure leadership and will work closely with Finance, Network Engineering and Operations, Sourcing, Real Estate and Vendor Management teams.

The Process Analyst will lead on centralizing the of control of technology license and maintenance agreements and to work with procurement and finance on controlling costs, negotiating better contracts with vendors and maintaining forecasted budgets.

The Process Analysis will provide guidance and support to the order desk for telecom provisioning using expense management software (Calero VeraSMART). The order desk’s primary responsibility is to have a single organization trained, responsible and accountable for inventory accuracy in Calero.

What you'll do:

  • Assist the lead in planning and provisioning for telecom services

  • Provide guidance and support to the order desk for telecom provisioning in Calero

  • Accountable for data and voice Inventory management

  • Prepare updates on spending, market trends and patterns, capacity management

  • Participate and run key meetings with the global teams and looks at patterns, trends to cut down telecom costs

  • Prepare data and voice circuit usage management and reporting

  • Partner with finance and procurement on planning and budgeting

  • Maintain and update the Invoice processing for telecom expense management

  • Maintain and update the license and maintenance agreement process

  • Accountable for communicating and enforcing adoption of process across the core infrastructure teams

  • Overall strategy for tracking over utilization and underutilization of data and voice circuits

  • Keep up to date with market trends of the telecom industry

  • Accountable for record keeping of Asset decommissioning and disposal

  • Previous experience utilizing a 3rd party Telecom Expense Management tool preferred
