Privacy Administrator/ Analyst - Fixed Term

Full time (37.5hrs pw)

Privacy is a critical and increasingly high-profile issue in the highly- regulated insurance, health and care environment. We are looking for an individual to support the team in the administrative and operational side of data protection compliance.
You’ll help us make health happen through:
- Responsible for maintaining key logs to aid with demonstration of accountability with privacy requirements (for example the Article 30 register of data processing).
- Supporting the work of the BU Privacy Leads where required – such work to include:
- Advising front-line teams on privacy matters;
- Maintaining guidance documents for front-line staff;
- Assisting privacy investigations for complaints or incidents; and
- Supporting the management of individual rights requests.
- Collating Management Information and compiling privacy reports for the Head of Privacy.
- Supporting the business with Data Protection Impact Assessments.
- Developing and managing privacy communications and working with internal comms teams on privacy campaigns.
- Preparing information for and attending (where appropriate) relevant governance meetings and forums.
- Reviewing copy clearance and approving literature based on a set of prescribed privacy ‘house rules’.
Key Skills needed for this role:
- Strong administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Be meticulous and have a keen eye for detail
- The ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Good communication skills across various disciplines; phone, email, letter etc.
- Experience of dealing with stakeholders at different levels
- Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams
