WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US 

SimCorp has a bold vision and ambitious plans for AI. Our multi-year AI strategy focuses not only on delivering product innovation but also driving engineering productivity and operational efficiencies. As the Principal Product Owner for AI Enablement, you will play a central role in turning our AI strategy into impact and help us realize the value of AI at scale. 

You will lead a cross-functional team to drive AI adoption internally across our entire software development lifecycle and platform operational processes. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 

  • Leading AI enablement from strategy to execution in partnership with Product Development Strategy & Excellence, AI Learning Area, and other key stakeholders 

  • Maintaining an overview of our AI developer tool landscape and the development roadmap  

  • Taking product ownership of common AI developer tools and supporting their roll-out as needed e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code 

  • Supporting the development and adoption of in-house AI developer tools 

  • Providing AI training and upskilling for the entire Product Development organization in close partnership with AI Learning Area e.g. hands-on workshops, best practices sharing 

  • Spearheading AI governance in Product Development in tight partnership with Security & Compliance teams e.g. guidance on agentic engineering and responsible AI practices 

  • Supporting Engineering leadership in driving AI adoption across the entire software development lifecycle 

  • Supporting Platform Operations leadership in executing high-impact AI use cases across operational processes
