Principal Engineer - Partner Technologies

Context & Impact
As Lansweeper expands through new strategic technology partnerships and continuous growth, we're looking for a Principal Engineer - Partner Technologies to strengthen our partner ecosystem.
You'll play a key role in designing and building high-performance, lightweight software components that seamlessly integrate Lansweeper with other major technology solutions. Over the next 6-12 months, your focus will be on developing network scanning protocols, building secure integrations, and enhancing our partner solutions architecture.
Challenge
The main challenges you'll face are:

• Building robust, performant, and scalable partner integrations across multiple ecosystems.
• Designing and implementing complex APIs and protocols to connect partner systems.
• Balancing innovation, maintainability, and performance within a fast-moving product environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build high-performance partner software components.
• Develop and enhance network scanning protocols and system integrations.
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams and product managers to deliver seamless integrations.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of our partner technologies.
• Contribute as a senior technical expert, sharing insights and driving engineering excellence across partner-related initiatives.
• Act as a technical SPOC for key partners.

Hard skills:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and system design.
• Strong programming skills in .NET / C# and familiarity with Rust.
• Expertise in Linux and/or networking
• Expertise in API development, and integration design.
• Proven experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft, AWS, SQL Server, and MongoDB ecosystems.

Soft skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across teams.
• Passion for high-performance architecture and clean engineering practices.
• Good communication skills and stakeholder management

This role may include participation in our on-call duty system, which means being available outside regular hours to respond to urgent technical incidents. On-call weeks are planned in advance, and we offer a base allowance plus potential overtime compensation. You would need to respond within 30 minutes and be reachable by laptop, phone, or email when on call.
