Job Description

Extending our transformation services across different sectors is a crucial part of our growth strategy, as we aim to provide clients with comprehensive access to our full range of expert capabilities. As a Principal, you will play a defining role in shaping the next phase of our Transformation practice, contributing directly to Analysys Mason’s global growth.

Under the guidance of our Transformation division Lead, Oli Barnett, you will join the senior leadership team responsible for setting the direction, priorities, and growth agenda of the practice, driving business development activities, utilising your existing network and building new client relationships.

You will own and lead  entire engagement lifecycles, from origination, business development, initial mobilisation, through to final implementation. Acting as a senior point of connection between Analysys Mason and our clients, you will ensure that our value-led outcomes meet our clients’ high standards and expectations.

Our projects are diverse, and your focus could include value creation, operating model design, operational excellence, revenue growth, and cost and margin optimisation.

You will also play a significant role in the career development, coaching and mentoring of internal and client teams, as well as the line management of Transformation Europe team members. You will also play a significant role in developing new propositions, sectors, and offerings, helping to broaden and deepen the firm’s Transformation capability.

You will have an influential role within the firm, contributing to the career development, coaching and mentoring of colleagues, and line‑managing members of the Transformation Europe team. You will also collaborate closely with Partners and leaders across Analysys Mason to bring a joined‑up, best‑in‑class approach to our clients.

Our culture is highly collaborative and team-oriented, and our people enjoy a hybrid work model, balancing client proximity, the convenience of remote work, while enjoying team spirit through work in our offices.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Helping clients navigate major transformation and strategic change programmes
  • Sponsoring and originating new client relationships and engagements, playing a leading role in the growth of the practice
  • Utilising your network to expand Analysys Mason’s footprint across priority sectors
  • Building trusted, long‑term relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Leading a diverse portfolio of engagements across sectors and geographies
  • Owning commercial performance, including cost control, margin optimisation, and resourcing
  • Developing intellectual capital and propositions to support both delivery and sales
  • Coaching, mentoring and inspiring teams to perform at their best
  • Developing future leaders through active people leadership and line management
  • Bringing together cross‑functional teams to deliver a distinctive, best‑in‑class client experience

Qualifications

We recognise and celebrate the fact that not everybody is the same, and we value the diversity of backgrounds and skillsets you will bring to our team.

Principals are critical leaders within Analysys Mason, with a clear impact on firm growth, market positioning, and the development of our people.

This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is seeking real autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape a growing practice. Your contribution will influence not only client outcomes, but the future direction of our Transformation capability.
