About the role:

Tilt is an innovative digital broker under the Howden umbrella, leveraging AI and automation to deliver effortless, self-service insurance solutions. We are redefining the commercial insurance space by removing unnecessary friction and making it easier for businesses to manage their policies online.

Join Tilt as a Pricing Manager, where your expertise will drive smarter pricing decisions. In this pivotal position, you’ll influence broker income, customer conversion, and insurer relationships through rigorous analysis and strategic execution. From building robust pricing models to tracking performance and uncovering insights, you’ll be at the heart of data-led decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed analysis to support the development of pricing strategies, including elasticity modeling, lifetime value analysis, and commission optimisation.
  • Implement and maintain pricing models, including real-time commission setting and variable deposit structures for instalment business.
  • Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to refine pricing models using tools such as Earnix.
  • Monitor pricing performance and provide actionable insights to improve conversion, retention, and profitability.
  • Assist in fraud detection and risk selection analytics to support pricing integrity.
  • Support insurer pricing initiatives by analysing risk selection and identifying opportunities for market expansion.
  • Ensure pricing models and decisions comply with regulatory standards and internal governance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear recommendations.
Key Skills and Experience
  • At least 2 years experience in pricing analysis within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong proficiency in data modeling, statistical analysis, and pricing tools (e.g., Earnix).
  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate findings effectively.
  • Familiarity with market dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitive pricing strategies.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks related to pricing and insurance products.
Location

Peterborough-based with regular homeworking and occasional travel to London for meetings. Fast-paced, dynamic environment focused on delivering strategic pricing initiatives.
