Job Title: Pricing Manager – Personal Loans

Location: Bexhill/Leicester/London – Hybrid/Remote


Role purpose

Working in the Core Credit Risk & Pricing team within the lending business, this is a hands-on role where you and supporting analysts will be using multiple data sources and analytical tools to develop and optimise pricing & trading strategies.


Accountabilities

Your remit will include the following:

  • Develop and optimise pricing strategies to deliver financial trading plans
  • Drive efficiencies and automation in pricing strategy execution
  • Collaborate with the Modelling team to identify new pricing factors that drive competitive advantage
  • Maintain MI which facilitates effective performance monitoring and optimisation
  • Provide analysis and insights for Management Committee and Board
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and reputational integrity
  • Act as a Commercial SME within the business
  • Meet customers’ reasonable expectations and provide fair outcomes
  • Develop and deliver these accountabilities with supporting analysts

Skills Knowledge & Experience

  • Price comparison website experience essential, retail lending product knowledge desired
  • Real rate risk-based pricing experience essential
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, has agility to manage and adapt focus and priorities
  • Strong SQL coding skills, other programming experience such as R or Python desirable
  • Can handle vast and multiple data sources at speed
  • Commercially aware, can optimise for short and long-term outcomes
  • Communication skills can transcend levels within the business
  • Analytically driven to continuously look for new insights and apply innovative thinking
  • Seeks continuous improvement, both in terms of skills and outcomes
