As a Presales Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering the sales targets for the marketing reporting and fund centre service line in collaboration with the territory sales teams.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in specialist sales in the investment and digital marketing domain, with strong client facing communication skills. They will have successfully demonstrated the ability to articulate value to prospect requirements in both face to face and written communications.

This role can be based in London, Zurich or Luxembourg.

Your key responsibilities as a Presales Consultant will include:

  • Expert in the service lines of investment marketing reporting and digital investment fund centres enabling clear articulation of the value the services bring to prospects through discovery discussions, demonstrations, workshops and reference materials.
  • Gather market information from interactions with prospective and current customers to act as the voice of the customer & market. Use this knowledge internally with product to develop and align the product roadmap to address client requirements as well reinforce FE fundinfo’s competitive advantages.
  • Serve as the go-to-resource for technical details, benefits, competitive positioning, and industry-specific application of the service line  Delivering sales targets for the marketing reporting and fund centre service line in collaboration with territory sales teams.
  • Developing and executing the sales plan, and providing domain expertise in investment marketing reporting and digital investment fund centres.
  • Gathering market information to act as the voice of the customer and aligning the product roadmap with client requirements.
  • Leading stages of the sales cycle, including discovery meetings, pitch meetings, product demonstrations, and solution workshops.
  • Proactively identifying new business opportunities and collaborating with territory sales to convert leads into sales.
  • Representing FE fundinfo as a speaker in wider market communications, including webinars, events, and industry forums.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, customer needs and competitor activities that will impact the services in the future. These will include changes to the regulatory landscape.
  • Create proposals targeted at individual prospective clients to meet their needs.
  • Originate, enhance and develop supporting artefacts, standard sales scripts and presentations to outline the value proposition. Demonstrate the workflows which support both the sales process and enable alignment with the marketing and delivery teams.

You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Presales Consultant:

  • You must have a strong track record working with digital products within financial services, banking, insurance or similar.
  • You will ideally have solid presales or market specialist experience.
  • You will have the ability to articulate value to prospect requirements and build trusted relationships with clients.
  • You must have incredible client-facing communication skills, with the ability to present in a confident and engaging manner with a variety of stakeholders.
  • You will preferably be fluent in French and/or German (not essential).
  • You will ideally have a deep understanding of the investment industry and a passion for educating clients on specialised solutions.
