MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Account Manager works with one or more Account Directors to achieve all client’s objectives within their team.

The Account Manager is able to proactively generate PR coverage and oversees the day-to-day management of the sample collection, gifting and other PR activities.

Account Executive(s), showroom co-ordinators and Intern(s) (where applicable)

MAIN TASKS OF THE JOB:

  • Working with Account Executive and showroom co-ordinators to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the press office.

  • Oversees the sample trafficking, gifting and other PR activities.

  • Has strong contacts with stylists, and journalists in order to successfully pitch and secure relevant news stories and product placements, including VIP dressing and social media coverage.

  • Develops knowledge and relationships with VIP and influencers with a focus on upcoming talent in order to build dynamic lists and propose new, relevant and unique ideas.

  • Client liaison - under the guidance of the Account Director, be able to help manage the client relationship and communicate clearly and efficiently.

  • Able to manage press events, both online/in-person including generating guest lists,managing invites and securing talent under the direction of the Account Director.

  • Is able to successfully support the Account Director as well as lead the Account Executive.

  • Contributes innovative ideas to communications strategies & new business proposals.

  • Support the Account Directors with reports and analysis of press coverage across print, online and social. Able to use measuring tools & platforms to report on EMV, ADV, engagement, reach, etc.

  • Ensuring each client is visually merchandised correctly within the showroom.

  • Oversees the Account Executive, Showroom Co-ordinator and Interns to ensure VM is kept up to standards expected.

This is a dynamic role and the above is not an exhaustive list of duties. The Account Manager is expected to manage their usual clients as well as other projects as and when required by the Account Director, all whilst successfully leading the Account Executives
