Our trading teams are each comprised of a dynamic group of traders, quantitative researchers, analysts and engineers who work together to examine the global markets, seeking to understand the complexities of various traded products and exchanges. They leverage their impeccable statistical analysis and data mining skills, using the results of their research to make forecasts and develop profitable predictive trading models.
What You'll Do:

Power and Gas quantitative analysts at Jump Trading work on models to help us understand the fundamentals driving supply and demand of power, gas and related markets. Jump’s Analysts collaborate within our trading team to develop analytical models and optimize trading strategies.


Skills You'll Need:

  • Proven success in modeling and researching the fundamental drivers within the European energy markets
  • Experience creating power stack and gas balance models
  • Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
  • Possess strong Python skills
  • Bachelors or Masters or PhD in Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics (or related subject)
  • Desire to work within a collaborative, team-driven environment
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Reliable and predictable availability
