Develops portfolio metrics, reporting, tools, and process improvements; communicates progress and commitments to stakeholders; drives collaboration and adoption of Lean and SAFe practices; identifies Agile coaching opportunities; aligns release trains and business teams; and supports data-driven investment and business decisions.
As the Portfolio Manager, you'll facilitate the work intake process for a given portfolio of work (business area, company, etc.) and guide stakeholders through the process to prioritize the highest value work for teams to execute. You'll document, analyze and communicate commitments and results while measuring value realization for work completed.

- Apply L ean portfolio management methodology, standards and governance
- Develop best practices and tools to drive business outcomes and create visibility
- Keep business areas and stakeholders informed of progress and changes through written and verbal communication
- Drive collaboration among stakeholders for timely decision making
- Promote process changes and gain adoption on new processes pertaining to intake and prioritization
- Define and create portfolio execution performance metrics and reporting
- Seek data and reporting efficiency opportunities and implement automation where possible
- Educate engaged teams and business stakeholders on the portfolio intake and prioritization processes
- Understand and promote Scaled Agile Framework ( SAFe ) best practices
- Identify Agile coaching opportunities and proactively engage coaches effectively
- Drive alignment across release trains and business teams to optimize results
- Set and manage client expectations
- Maintain a solid understanding of the mortgage and technology industries
About y ou
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor ' s degree in information systems, economics, supply chain or significant relevant experience
- 2 years of experience managing repeatable projects, operations or similar body of work that requires strong organizational, systems thinking and process design skill
- 1 year of L ean portfolio management experience
- 1 year of A gile portfolio operations experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft O ffice suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) (preferred) or a similar work management tool ( e.g., Jira)
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools (Power BI)
- Completion of a SAFe Lean Portfolio Manag e ment (LPM) course
- SAFe LPM Certification
- PMI Portfolio Management Professional Certification
- Understanding of investment horizons and the ability to analyze trends and create visibility to drive key business decisions
- Familiar with strategy and investment funding practices to guide business agility
