The Platform Engineer will manage and automate infrastructure setups using Azure, troubleshoot platform issues, and ensure system health in a hybrid work environment.
We’re looking for a Platform engineer for the an Infrastructure team to build, configure, and support infrastructure to enable teams to deliver their solutions across the estate. You’ll manage the systems and their full lifecycle of the infrastructure components and automate deployments and updates so that we operate securely.
This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week on client site in London.
Requirements
- Create and maintain infrastructure setup, configuration management and deployment automation across on-prem and Azure Cloud
- Identify and troubleshoot platform-related issues, assisting in root cause analysis and finding solutions
- Monitoring the health and performance of the platform, flagging issues for further investigation
- Work on automating routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts
- Document platform configurations, processes and troubleshooting steps to build a knowledge base for future reference
- Follow security guidelines and contribute to implementing security measures in the platform infrastructure
Skills Essentials
- Proficiency in designing scalable and reliable solutions
- Strong Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools and automation- Experience in implementing and maintaining CI\CD pipelines to enable rapid deployment
- Ability to implement observability and troubleshoot complex issues
- Experience with on-Prem Network Deployment and Automation
- Experience with Cloud Network Deployment and Automation
- Windows administration, Linux administration
- Knowledgeable in scripting and programming languages like Bash or Powershell for automation and customization
- Network design and troubleshooting (including DHCP)
