Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Plasterers to join our team working on kitchen and bathroom renewal projects within the social housing sector across Guildford area.

This is a great opportunity for self-employed tradespeople looking for consistent, long-term work with strong earning potential. You’ll be part of a well-organised programme, delivering quality work in occupied properties while making a real difference to residents’ homes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out all aspects of plastering work within kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
  • Preparing surfaces, including bonding, patching, and skimming
  • Making good after other trades, ensuring a high-quality finish
  • Working in occupied social housing properties, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with project specifications and company standards
  • Managing your daily workload to meet programme deadlines
  • Communicating effectively with site teams, supervisors, and tenants
  • Identifying and reporting any issues or additional works required
  • Working collaboratively with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery

Qualifications

  • CSCS card
  • Experience in domestic/similar work
  • NVQ Level 2 (preferred)
  • Basic H&S certifications (especially asbestos awareness)

Additional Information

In addition to the above qualifications, we are looking for: 

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Own tools (110v or battery-operated)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (van preferred)
  • Good conversational English
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
