We’re hiring a Planning Director as part of our team based from our London office.

Purpose of the Role 
This Planning Director role will be working on an automotive account.

This role is critical in the day-to-day running of the account & a key lead in delivering brilliant communications planning, with the support of a Planning Manager in delivering and managing the end-to-end campaign process for our clients – including brand, product launch, seasonal and tactical volume-driving campaigns. Moreover, this role will be required to build a productive and successful relationship with our clients’ partner agencies.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Leads client activity to deliver innovative and ambitious plans that deliver client objectives and key performance indicators

  • Supports the management team to ensure that the team are working to deliver best in market results

  • Liaises frequently with Trading counterpart to ensure plans align with trading priorities

  • Connects with internal and external networks to deliver against one operating model, considering internal products when delivering planning solutions to clients

  • Seeks understanding of clients’ fee models in order to maximise business revenue

  • Identifies business development opportunities from within the existing client portfolio and prospective clients, focussed on delivering internal revenue

Key Skills

  • Regardless of background, a Planning Director at iProspect needs some specific traits to succeed.

  • Established comms planner (brand & performance media) and client service account person

  • Strong digital & performance media expertise - decent knowledge of digital media planning, activation and optimisation, with the ability to confidently lead conversations across performance channels and provide recommendations

  • Strategic campaign leadership behaviours - someone who can lead campaign planning from brief to activation, ensuring work progresses at pace and delivers against business objectives

  • Good client lead - leader within the team who'll build confidence with clients and challenge them in the right places

  • Clear and effective communicator - must communicate with clarity, consistency and precision across clients, agency teams and media partners

  • Automotive experience would be beneficial

What we offer
This is a Permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office twice a week.
