Planner/Works Programmer

Darlington – Office based     

Full Time, Permanent, 42.5hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary up to £32,130 per annum

Mears provides temporary accommodation to asylum seekers whilst their claim is being assessed in three regions: Northeast, Yorkshire and Humber, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. At the end of May 2021 Mears had over 19000 service users across the three regions. Mears work in partnership with central and local Government, registered providers, tenants, landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness, provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs.

About the Role:

As a Planner within our Darlington branch you will be part of a team of 3 reporting into the Supervisor. The main duties of the role will be Planning appointments for 10 Multi Skilled Operatives, Reviewing materials ordered by operatives, Ensuring emergency job are booked in kpi timescales, Responding to queries for compliance and quality team, Liaising with colleagues in housing management and updating various reports and excel spreadsheets for compliance.
