Phorum Director – Supply Resilience

Location: Home-based (UK) with occasional domestic and international travel.

The Role
We are seeking a Phorum Director – Supply Resilience to lead one of our most strategic Phorums. This senior role is accountable for delivering measurable outcomes for members, driving engagement, retention, profitability, and thought leadership. You will work closely with the Senior Phorum Director to identify growth opportunities, develop strategic initiatives, and embed best-in-class processes across your Phorum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate your Phorum team, ensuring clear objectives, development support, and performance excellence.
  • Develop and execute the Phorum business plan, ensuring tangible member outcomes and measurable ROI.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with L1 and L2 clients to support insights, retention, and industry impact.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality virtual and in-person meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Identify opportunities for thought leadership, industry influence, and cross-Phorum collaboration.
  • Manage Phorum budgets, ensuring costs, resources, and events are aligned with financial and growth targets.
  • Monitor KPIs, including NPS, eNPS, member retention, profitability, and thought leadership outputs.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial or strategic leadership role within life sciences or a related sector.
  • Track record of driving strategy, adding client value, and delivering revenue growth.
  • Strong client management skills, able to build and sustain senior relationships.
  • Data-driven, numerate, and proficient in MS Office (intermediate–advanced).
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to adapt communication to different audiences.

Location & Travel

  • Home-based role with occasional travel: at least two UK trips and two international trips annually.
