We are looking for a highly organised Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant who enjoys herding cats, wrangling diaries, working with Managers who promote work-life balance and wants to make a genuine change!
This is an exciting opportunity for a split admin support role. 50% of your role will be supporting an Engineering Executive and 50% supporting the Launch Pad, a key facility in driving the future of the UK space industry.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
PA & Launch Pad responsibilities
Managing calendars, arranging VIP visitor events and booking of IT equipment, rooms and catering
Ensuring office and conference room standards are maintained and no health and safety risks exist.
PA responsibilities
Booking work travel and management of expenses for the Engineering Executive and UK direct reports
Writing up of notes and creation of presentations
Working with transnational teams across 7 sites, inc 2 UK sites
Launch Pad responsibilities
Point of communication for SME companies during their 6 months stay, including room requests, having expert support and general scheduling of the area. Oversee day-to-day operations, alert Facilities of any issues.
Handle enquiries from potential residents, visitors, and partners
ABOUT YOU
PA or EA experience within a technical (engineering, aerospace, manufacturing), events coordination or buildings facility industry
Previously worked with different departments to coordinate events and make sure the “behind the screens” support is organised, sometimes within a complex and fluid environment
Experience working one on one with a busy manager and tapping into support when needed from facilities, security, secretarial teams and other team members
