Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Performance Reporting Analyst within Mercer’s Investment Solutions business in London. This is available on a hybrid basis, offering home working for up to 2 days, with the other 3 days based in our office in London.

Within this performance and risk analytics, and reporting, focused investment role the person will support large institutional clients by producing performance attribution, portfolio analytics, client reports, and ad hoc performance analysis across bespoke multi-asset and single-asset portfolios. The role also involves responding directly to client queries and participating in client meetings as needed.

We are open to candidates from a range of analytical backgrounds. The successful candidate will bring experience in performance analytics, attribution, portfolio reporting, and responding directly to client queries.

We will rely on you to:

  • Calculate and review performance attribution and reporting accurately and on time

  • Produce reports for investment committees and trustee boards

  • Work with custodians, external managers, and portfolio managers

  • Respond to client queries and explain performance insights clearly

  • Write investment and market commentary

  • Help improve processes and efficiency through automation

What you need to have:

  • Demonstrable, relevant experience in performance analytics, portfolio reporting, attribution, within financial services, asset management, or a related investments focused environment.

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills

  • A numerate degree

  • Ideally working toward CFA or CIPM

  • Good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
