Why be a Performance Marketing Manager at THG?

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Performance Marketing Manager (ROW) to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing marketing budgets/strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives across our primary markets. The candidate will play a crucial role in cost of sale management, tracking, and reporting on the company’s daily trade activities. 


As a Performance Marketing Manager, you'll:

  • Manage and allocate budgets effectively across different marketing channels for the specified regions to achieve maximum ROI and cost efficiencies. 
  • Plan and oversee all aspects of performance marketing campaigns in specified region. 
  • Monitor and report on campaign budget utilisation, making adjustments as necessary. 
  • Monitor and manage the cost of sale to ensure profitability targets are met for each region. 
  • Implement strategies to optimise the cost-effectiveness of marketing campaigns while maximizing sales revenue. 
  • Utilise analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, implementing robust tracking mechanisms to monitor the performance of marketing campaigns in real-time. 
  • Provide regular reports and insights to key stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and success. 
  • Provide in-depth analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as COS, CPA, CPS, ROI and conversion rates and their impact on overall business performance. 
  • Provide insightful commentary on the company's daily trade activities, analysing market trends, competitor actions, and external factors impacting performance. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate performance marketing into overall plans for the specified regions. 
  • Collaborate with other marketing managers to ensure consistent and integrated marketing efforts across regions. 
  • Work closely with ecommerce, buying, commercial, finance and analytics teams to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives. 

 

What Skills and Experience do I need?

  • Educated to degree level 
  • Proven experience in performance marketing, with a track record of successful campaign management and optimisation (minimum 5 years) 
  • Line management experience (desired) 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights. 
  • Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Tableau, Google analytics, and Excel. 
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, analytics tools, and performance metrics specific to these regions. 
  • Target driven with a strong commercial understanding and ability to report and make decisions based on marketing KPIS.
