You will report into the People Technology Lead to help to deliver people data, insight and a seamless colleague experience using the People system and any other processes. You will focus on automating and simplifying processes where possible.

What you'll be doing...

People System

  • Lead/ Support the Workday aspects of key People team projects, depending on scale of the delivery.
  • Help improve the People system by implementing new features and updating existing ones.
  • Provide first-level and second-level help for any questions about the People system, from both people team and business users.
  • Work closely with our team and other users to understand and address their needs and issues.
  • Create, update and maintain People system guides, FAQs and in-system guidance notes as needed, optimising the use of AI functionality where possible.
  • Develop and deliver training and upskilling for People team and other key stakeholders

People Operations Processes and Business Compliance

  • Manage day to day people processes to ensure a great experience for colleagues.
  • Find ways to simplify processes and increase productivity.
  • Ensure benefits are administered accurately, collaborating with the Payroll Partner as needed.
  • Support audits and ensure processes meet legal and company standards.

People Data and Insight

  • Respond to requests for People data and insights
  • Lead proactively on benefits data and reporting
  • Assist with report writing in Workday
  • Assist with company reporting, including people team dashboard, corporate reporting and other activities.

Team support

  • Act as a coach and sounding board to the People Assistant, enabling them to continue building their skills in People operations.
  • Cover the People Team Assistant role as the need arises, using this experience to help with operational improvement work.
  • Support and help fellow colleagues when needed

A little bit about you...

  • Good at working with others and managing relationships.
  • Have strong knowledge of large-scale People Systems like Workday.
  • Able to build and update Workday modules and dashboards.
  • Understand People processes throughout the employee journey.
  • Communicate clearly, both in writing and speaking, taking the needs of the audience into consideration.
  • Expert in MS Excel (detail of required processes will be shared)
  • Have good time management and organisational skills.
  • Curious and driven by an ethos of continuous improvement

Experience:

Required:

  • Experience in People operations administration
  • Experience in designing systems to improve customer experience
  • It would be helpful to have experience in customer service roles.
