Mission

Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.
In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.

About Neko Health

Neko Health is a Swedish healthcare technology company founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Our mission is to redesign healthcare by shifting the focus from reactive treatment to proactive and preventive care.

We are building a new kind of healthcare experience designed to help people stay ahead of their health. By combining medical expertise with breakthrough technology, we make it possible to quickly and non-invasively gather a broad picture of a person's health and deliver clear insights within minutes.

Headquartered in Stockholm and New York, Neko Health offers the Neko Body Scan experience across Europe and the US, supported by a growing team of people working to transform how healthcare is delivered.

Why this role exists

Legal, Finance and People are what let Neko operate, hire and stay compliant as it scales, and Product & Technology is the largest, most complex function at HQ. These aren't the same kind of problem. Each function sits at a different stage of maturity, and this role isn't about pulling them into one shape. It's about moving fluidly between genuinely different disciplines, bringing the right kind of people practice to each, rather than defaulting to a single playbook.

This is one of the most senior People roles at HQ outside the Global People Lead itself. It suits a senior level HR operator who's genuinely comfortable holding several different kinds of problem at once, and who brings real depth in organisational design, workforce planning, strategy and culture, genuine command of each rather than surface-level familiarity.

What you'll do

Own the people agenda across Corporate Functions and partners with the Global People lead on parts of the Product & Tech organisation
  • Lead workforce planning and organisational design across Legal, Finance, People, (and support to parts of the Product & Technology teams) role clarity, resourcing decisions and structural recommendations tailored to each function's stage

  • Meet each function on its own terms, building where a function is still finding its shape, optimising where it's stable, rather than applying one approach everywhere

  • Build genuine partnership with the leaders who run each of these teams, calibrating the relationship to what each one needs

Be the strategic partner to senior leadership
  • Serve as the primary strategic partner across Legal, Finance, People and some of the Product & Technology teams, translating business strategy into people priorities, programmes and operating plans for each function

  • Coach and challenge leaders on the decisions that shape the organisation they'll be running next year, thinking a step ahead of today's priorities

  • Bring sound judgement and discretion to the most sensitive people matters across all four functions

Champion Neko's culture and Vitals
  • Partner with leaders across Legal, Finance, People and parts of the Product & Technology to embed Neko's cultural Vitals into how their teams actually operate, day to day

  • Help leaders translate the Vitals into practical behaviours and decisions across genuinely different functions

  • Build the rituals and feedback loops that keep culture genuinely lived as each function matures at its own pace

Drive talent management across Corporate Functions and Product & Tech
  • Working in partnership with the Growth & Engagement team to drive leadership development, performance and engagement for the leadership population across Legal, Finance, People and Product & Technology

  • Advise on compensation, mobility and promotions in partnership with Reward & Enablement, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness across genuinely different functions

Lead change and manage risk
  • Lead and sponsor change initiatives that affect structure or operating model in any of these functions, owning scope, timeline, stakeholder engagement and change readiness from start to finish

  • Manage employee relations matters across Legal, Finance, People and Product & Technology, working directly with Legal colleagues and specialist counsel to resolve issues with discretion and confidentiality

  • Spot risk early, whether that's capacity strain in Legal or Finance, or Product & Technology's pace outstripping its structure

Drive organisational design and workforce planning
  • Use workforce and org data to shape decisions ahead of need

  • Deliver people analytics and actionable insights that turn data into clear, decision-ready recommendations

  • Put data and AI to work in how the people agenda runs day to day, sharper decisions, less manual effort

Bring the right practice to functions at different stages
  • Recognise that Legal, Finance, People and Product & Technology each need different structures, rhythms and support, and build accordingly

  • Turn central People programmes into practice that fits each function's actual culture and maturity

  • Experience evaluating how AI informs talent decisions and org design, bringing the judgement to design with AI as a genuine participant in how roles and structures should look, actively shaping the work itself.

What you bring
  • Deep, hands-on experience across organisational design, workforce planning, people strategy and culture, genuine depth in all four, built through direct ownership rather than generalist HRBP exposure

  • 10+ years in senior HR Business Partner, People Partner, or People/HR leadership roles, including ownership of the people agenda across genuinely different functions at Director level or above

  • Experience owning leadership development and performance calibration outcomes for a senior leadership population

  • A track record of personally leading change initiatives end to end: scope, timeline, and stakeholder engagement

  • A genuine passion for culture and values, with experience helping leaders embed them into how their teams actually work

  • A track record of partnering with and influencing senior functional leaders on complex, high-stakes organisational decisions, operating with genuine autonomy as an independent decision-maker

  • Comfort holding functions at very different stages of maturity at once, adapting approach rather than applying one framework to all

  • Fluent with people data and actively using AI in your own work

  • Working knowledge of employment law relevant to Neko's HQ locations, with the judgement to know when to bring in specialist expertise
