AppFollow seeks an experienced Operations manager to help us with key initiatives focusing on People Operations. In this a very hands-on role one will engage in HR processes operating as a support for the current and future team members, helping them with all varieties of questions and issues they might encounter, as well as working on optimizing and streamlining operation processes within the company. The ideal candidate combines operational excellence with strategic thinking to drive business growth and team satisfaction through internal process optimization and improvement.


📍Responsibilities:


People Operations & Process Optimization:

Manage HR systems, streamlining and unifying processes where appropriate.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and global HR standards.

Drive simplification and efficiency in HR operations in collaboration with stakeholders.

Support employees requests and asks for help where company deems possible.

Set up and organize internal events (meetups, all-hands, off-sites, etc) according to the agreed plans.

Support engagement with appropriate company's vendors and partners.

Engage with other teams (e.g. Finance, Legal).

Team Engagement & Culture:

Help company foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and trust in a remote-first environment through supporting and nurturing related company processes.

Partner with employees and leaders to address concerns and create a positive workplace experience.


📍Requirements:


1. Experience: Minimum 3+ years as an Operations manager, or People / HR Operations manager, or similar role, preferably in startups or fast-growing environments, working with systems like BambooHR, Deel, Remote, setting up and/or changing and re-building people processes in companies with 100+ employees. Engagement in People related projects and cases, e.g. offline all-hands meetups, mixed online-offline events, setting up service providers and so on.

2. Skills: Proven expertise in operations and systems management, with a hands-on approach. Strong track record in process optimization and aligning strategies with business objectives.

3. Location & Time Zone: Must work comfortably within the Helsinki time zone.


📍Benefits:


1. Options: Stock options paid according to the employee stock option plan. Vesting period: 4 years with 1 year cliff.

2. Vacation: 25 working days of paid holiday annually.

3. Health Insurance: Worldwide coverage after the probation period.

4. Sick Leave: Up to 30 days per year, fully paid.

5. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 working hours per day, plus a 1-hour lunch break. Regular working hours aligned with European time zones. Fully remote.

6. One-time payment of €250 after probation for home office equipment (desks, chairs, monitors, etc.).

7. Monthly remote work bonus of €50.
