An overview of this role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Recruiting Manager to join our team supporting our scaling Sales organization across the EMEA region. This role will report to the Director of Global GTM + G&A Recruiting. In this role you will manage the EMEA Sales Recruiting team focused on hiring critical roles in the EMEA Sales organization such as Account Executives, Solution Architects, Customer Success Managers, and Ecosystem Sales Managers among other regional roles. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to our VP, EMEA Sales, and their  leadership team while collaborating with People Business Partners, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to ensure we are delivering high-quality results as efficiently as possible. You will be a data-driven thought partner who collaborates closely with regional executive leadership. You will contribute as a member of the Recruitment Leadership team by serving as a trusted advisor who protects the GitLab talent bar and leads your team to do the same.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and develop a high-performing team of talented recruiters – actively allow them to do their best work and develop their talents to grow within the company.
  • Set, manage and consistently achieve quarterly hiring targets while being an active builder within the Talent Acquisition leadership team. 
  • Act as a data-driven talent advisor and liaise with senior business leaders to deliver against business hiring needs and ensure the company stays abreast of current hiring trends, competitive compensation programs, best practices, and employment-related data.
  • Remove roadblocks by ensuring Hiring Manager readiness and accountability to hire and partner.
  • Drive a focus on Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging in all areas of hiring
  • Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet strategic objectives.
  • Create innovative sourcing strategies and ensure a high-touch candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Applicable experience working within go to marketing recruiting functions in a leadership capacity across multiple countries in the EMEA region 
  • Demonstrated experience working and thriving within an enterprise technology or SaaS-based company
  • Experience in developing long-term talent acquisition strategies and programs designed to attract top talent in highly competitive markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner and advise VP-level relationships
  • Experience with coaching, mentoring, and leading a high-performing Sales Recruiting team 
  • Ambitious, efficient, and stable under tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Remote working experience in a technology startup will be an added advantage
  • Ability to build relationships with managers and colleagues across multiple disciplines and timezones
