Role:                 People Operations Lead
Location:          London, UK
Reports into:    VP People and Transformation
Contract:          Full Time (hybrid - 3 days in London Office)
Salary Band:    £50-60K (pending experience)

About the role
This role exists to be the anchor for People Operations - to ensure our people operations are trusted, human, and effective, especially when things are moving fast or getting complex.

You own the delivery and integrity of HR services globally, with particular depth in Employee Relations, ethical decision-making, and execution excellence. You balance empathy with decisiveness, and you know when to listen - and when to act.

You’ll be part of a newly formed team, and you’ll work alongside:

  • a People Experience Lead shaping culture and meaning
  • a Talent Management Lead shaping how people join us, grow, and evolve
  • a Total Reward Lead owning compensation and benefits
  • a VP focused on organisational design, change, and the future

Together, you form a People team that is human, credible, and modern.

What you will do 

  • Own and lead People Operations & HR Services end-to-end
  • Be the primary owner of Employee Relations across regions - calmly, fairly, and confidently
  • Ensure people processes are compliant, ethical, and consistently delivered across countries
  • Oversee core people services: contracts, lifecycle events, policies, and case management
  • Act as a trusted partner to leaders during sensitive, high-stakes moments
  • Partner closely with Legal, Finance, and external providers
  • Keep a clear eye on execution - making sure things land, not just start

  • Is trusted with sensitive information because you handle it with care and integrity
  • Understands the importance of strong relationships (you are the kind of person people seek out before problems escalate)

This is a role for someone who finishes things and leads with curiosity and connection, not assumption. 

Experience

  • Strong background in Global People Operations / HR Services
  • Comfortable working across multiple countries and legal contexts (APAC, EMEA, AMERICAS)
  • Deep experience handling Employee Relations cases with confidence and care
  • Experience using HR systems and ER case management tools (e.g. Lattice, HR Acuity or similar)
  • Experience navigating GDPR, data protection, and ethical boundaries
