About the role:

You'll report to our Head of People and work closely with our People Partner and a fellow People Advisor covering our Northern sites.

  • Supporting, coaching and upskilling people managers across our national bodyshops (predominantly Southern England/ London region) to confidently handle a variety of people issues, including employee relations, using manager toolkits, constructive challenge and tailored training.
  • Managing a variety of employee relations cases through to completion, including absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working, performance and routine occupational health, keeping the HR system and key stakeholders updated throughout.
  • Advising on relevant policies and processes remotely and face to face, and feeding insight into policy and process reviews

  • Acting as an ambassador for the Group Values, supporting projects that improve the team member experience and embedding our values at every stage of the team member journey.

This is a hybrid role: expect 2-3 site visits a week, mainly across our southern sites (with some ad-hoc national travel) with the rest of your time worked remotely.

Skills and experience:

  • Full UK Driving Licence

Alongside a competitive salary, enjoy:

  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).
  • Personal health cash plan - claim back the cost of things like dentist and optical check-ups.
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental pay.
  • Life assurance: three times basic salary.
  • Free breakfasts and fruit.
  • Birthday surprise for everybody!
