The role requires attention to detail, effective time management, communication skills, a full driving licence, and the ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Manage workshop scheduling and resource utilisation to ensure efficient, high-quality vehicle repairs. Monitor output, enforce health & safety, liaise with logistics, value damaged vehicles, control wastage, and deliver excellent customer service.

Own the roadmap and product strategy for OEM-facing products, including AvantelIQ and Total Loss Avoidance. Build relationships with major automotive partners, translate requirements into product improvements, and collaborate with development, QA, UX/UI, and data teams on delivery. Define product metrics, monitor performance, support compliance, and identify automation and data-led opportunities. The role also contributes to establishing product management best practices across the organization.

Manages performance, compliance, audits, and business improvement across a regional network of automotive bodyshops and dealers. Analyzes operational data, monitors KPIs, conducts vehicle inspections, supports repair volume and profitability growth, and coaches sites on improvement plans. Builds relationships with work providers, promotes manufacturer programs, addresses customer feedback, and ensures adherence to repair, paint, environmental, and ADAS standards.

Leads the operational delivery of the uninsured loss recoveries function, driving recovery performance, efficiency, quality, cash acceleration, and regulatory compliance. Builds and develops high-performing management and handler teams, manages KPIs, capacity, recruitment, engagement, and performance, and negotiates complex claims with insurers and legal stakeholders. Provides operational insight to commercial leadership, supports customer reviews, leads continuous improvement and automation initiatives, and collaborates with Finance, People, Contact Centre, and other group functions.

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using C#, .NET (including .NET 8), Blazor and Angular 15. Build APIs, integrate databases (MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB), write tests, perform code reviews, optimize queries, document systems, and collaborate in Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Perform full vehicle body repairs to manufacturer standards across multiple Activate Accident Repair sites. Strip and refit trim and panels, repair dents and minor bodywork, use specialist measuring, jigging, welding and smart-repair tools, ensure safety and report faults, and provide national roaming cover (one-week site rotations).
