We’re reinventing payments. In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.

Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year. But we’re just getting started.

Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.

The Role
We’re looking for a passionate People Advisor to join our People Partnering team in London. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to all elements of the employee lifecycle and add real value to our high-performing People team. You will coach and advise our people leaders, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, and day-to-day operational HR partnering for our Group Functions. You’ll play a key part in helping our people leaders and their teams thrive.
What you will do...
  • Own and execute the centralised performance management process across the business, ensuring managers are supported effectively.
  • Autonomously manage a variety of Employee Relations cases from start to finish, including grievances, disciplinaries, and capability issues.
  • Provide high-quality, day-to-day HR partnering to leaders within Finance, Legal & Compliance, Risk, and the People team.
  • Upskill and coach managers to confidently handle difficult conversations and manage team challenges.
  • Advise and support people leaders and employees on family leave requests and flexible working.
  • Help to improve our employee experience by updating HR policies, procedures, and guides.

What you will bring...
  • Proven experience in managing or heavily supporting a business-wide performance management process.
  • A solid background in Employee Relations with a strong understanding of UK employment law and best practices.
  • Experience in supporting highly analytical corporate functions, such as Finance, Risk, or Legal.
  • Confidence in communicating with, advising, and challenging senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • The ability to use good judgment to provide solutions when things are not always black and white.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Dojo home and away

We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.

That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.

With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.

Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?

If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.

If the following speak to you, let’s talk:

  • You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
  • You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
  • You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
