Summary of our opportunity

The Private Equity Funds Investment Group (“PEFI”) is a division of ICG which sits within the Private Equity business group. It focuses on executing ICG’s LP secondaries program as well as managing ICG Enterprise Trust plc (“ICGT”), ICG’s primary funds and co-investments vehicle. ICGT is an evergreen vehicle with AUM of over $1.5 billion and is listed on the London Stock Exchange (part of the FTSE 250 index). ICGT invests alongside European and US buyout managers through primaries, secondaries and co-investments.

Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting due diligence on private equity funds including track record analysis, benchmarking and referencing

  • Conducting due diligence on co-investment opportunities

  • Preparing investment recommendation papers for presentation to the investment committee

  • Assisting in the closing process of new investments (e.g. legal review, AML/KYC workstreams)

  • Assisting in the coverage of the European private equity market by engaging with existing managers, screening new managers, and maintaining market maps

  • Monitoring of existing fund investments and co-investments

  • Assisting in the preparation of Board papers and results announcements

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in private equity investing either as an LP or GP

  • Financial analysis and modelling experience

  • Strong problem solving and relationship building skills
