Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process payroll data, including starters, leavers, bonuses, and benefits
  • Perform checks and reconciliations before payroll approval
  • Manage statutory filings such as PAYE, NIC, pensions, and local equivalents
  • Administer UK pension schemes, resolve issues with providers, and support audits
  • Lead payroll administration for Group Share Save and other employee share schemes
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR and data protection standards
  • Support internal/external audits with accurate documentation and records
  • Create detailed payroll process maps and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with People, Finance, and external providers to streamline data flow
  • Provide payroll reports and insights for stakeholders and budgeting purposes

About You:

  • Solid experience managing international, multi-entity payrolls
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NIC, pensions)
  • Familiarity with Dutch and Maltese payroll frameworks (a bonus!)
  • Confident managing outsourced payroll providers
  • Skilled in pension and share scheme administration
  • Process-focused, with the ability to document workflows clearly
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Payroll qualification (e.g. CIPP) desirable
  • A proactive team player with high integrity and clear communication skills
