Job Compensation Range
Salary Range: $88,000.00 - $121,000.00
Preferred Primary Location: NY office
The annual pay range reflected above for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed in the job description. Salary ranges for other locations vary from the range reflected above. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will execute payroll operations and play a key part in ensuring accurate and compliant processing of equity compensation across the company. You'll partner closely with the Compensation, Accounting, HR Operations, and Global Mobility teams to manage the intersection of equity and payroll, while also supporting broader Payroll and Financial Benefits functions. As part of this role, you will:
- Support the preparation and processing of US and international payroll for 3,000+ employees, including Workday data maintenance, auditing, coordination with vendors, and time tracking oversight
- Administer state and local tax accounts (OSV) and assist with various tax and compliance filings (ACA, 401k Audit) and retirement programs
- Administer the equity administration software (EquatePlus), performing data maintenance, audits, reconciliation with Workday and the General Ledger, and managing mobility and tax impacts for employees who relocate between states or countries
- Own end-to-end equity payroll processing, partnering with Compensation and Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing, reporting, and funding of equity transactions
- Manage employee education and communications related to our equity program
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee payroll and equity inquiries by managing Zendesk tickets
- Proactively develop and improve processes, controls, and documentation for equity and general payroll operations
- Assist with broader People Operations projects
Who You Are

- 3+ years of relevant experience in Payroll
- Hands-on experience processing payroll in an HRIS system (preferrably Workday)
- Experience with equity administration and taxation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and familiarity with Google Suite
- Proven ability to handle high-volume data accurately and efficiently
- Effective communication skill and experience communicating with a diverse employee base
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- You have a desire to learn, develop an existing skill set, and take on more responsibility
Extra Credit
- You have experience with international payroll and/or equity
- You have experience with equity administration in EquatePlus/Computershare
- You have experience handling tickets in Zendesk
