Leads global developer platform and AI infrastructure capabilities supporting approximately 300 software and data engineers. Responsibilities include platform strategy, self-service tooling, high-availability infrastructure, IT operations, AI enablement, governance, cost controls, security guardrails, and enterprise AI adoption. The role also builds and manages engineering leadership teams, improves developer velocity, and drives organizational maturity across distributed engineering pillars.

Build and own scalable healthcare data applications, including Snowflake data pipelines, data-sharing solutions, backend services, and React interfaces. Use Python, PySpark, Airflow, Prefect, Terraform, Docker, and observability tools to deliver robust, compliant systems. Collaborate with oncologists, product leaders, and data scientists, translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions, and mentor junior engineers.

Design and build complex, business-critical data pipelines and ML/LLM-powered clinical extraction systems. Collaborate with clinicians, product, and global engineering teams to scale solutions, maintain quality and security, and help grow the European engineering organization while developing UK healthcare domain knowledge.
