As a Payroll Bureau Pensions Administrator, you'll play a key role in delivering expert pension administration services to a portfolio of payroll customers. Reporting to the Pensions Manager, you'll take ownership of pension-related activities throughout the payroll cycle, ensuring all statutory, legislative and customer requirements are met accurately and on time.

You'll act as a trusted point of contact for customers, managing pension queries, maintaining compliance, and building strong working relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of pension administration services for allocated customer payrolls from start to finish of the payroll cycle
• Maintaining payroll bureau procedures and customer-specific processing documentation
• Managing day-to-day pension and payroll-related queries, ensuring responses are delivered within agreed service levels
• Calculating employee and employer pension contributions and making adjustments where required
• Preparing and submitting statutory pension returns accurately and on time
• Completing pension-related year-end activities and earlier year updates
• Ensuring compliance with all pensions legislation, guidance, and best practice
• Supporting the implementation of new customers and changes to existing pension schemes
• Building strong customer relationships through regular communication and outstanding service delivery
• Assisting with external audits and compliance checks as required
• Supporting testing activities for system upgrades and service improvements
• Providing cover for colleagues during periods of annual leave or absence
• Supporting customer contact lines and contributing to ad-hoc customer projects
• Maintaining confidentiality and data security in line with legal and company requirements
