This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of agentic commerce. As a core leader on a fast-moving team, you will take bold ideas from concept to launch and then to scale - delivering products that redefine how clients buy, sell, and transact in a rapidly emerging space. Partnering closely with Payments, Technology, and AI leaders, you will build scalable, resilient, and secure capabilities that deliver client value today and help unlock the agent economy of tomorrow.

As a Product Director within Payments, specifically within the Chief Data Analytics Office (CDAO), you will define and deliver a new generation of B2B Agentic Commerce products. You will spend time with clients and Payments stakeholders to understand where agent-driven commerce creates real value, translate those insights into requirements and success metrics, and manage priorities across competing demands.  You will own execution end-to-end, holding a high bar on resilience, security and performance so that what ships works.

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with clients, the business, Engineers, Data Scientists, Designers to define, shape and ship the product roadmap
  • Distils signal from a wide range of inputs – client conversations, user research, business strategy, technology and risk – into crisp specs, coherent designs and a sequenced and prioritized backlog that delivers on schedule
  • Rapidly prototypes new concepts and flows, then pressure-test them with clients and users to validate assumptions and sharpen requirements before build
  • Partners closely with solution architecture and engineering to ensure solutions will operate successfully at scale, are secure and aligned with enterprise standards
  • Sees around corners on delivery, surfacing risks and dependencies early, driving escalations to resolution, and brokering the trade-offs between client needs, business priorities, and technical constraints
  • Defines the success metrics that matter, tracks them and turns the insight into continual improvements
  • Clearly communicates goals, requirements, roadmaps, and timelines to delivery teams, and to executive stakeholders
  • Be the credible face of the product with senior stakeholders, business users, and external clients, using influence and judgement to move decisions forward.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Extensive product management experience, with products you have taken to market and scaled to real impact
  • Results-oriented with a track record of delivery, with outcomes that clients and the business can point to e.g. revenue, client value, adoption, not just features delivered
  • Proven success working side-by-side with clients, business partners, engineers, data scientists, and designers, to deliver complex systems end-to-end
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable in front of external clients and users, able to influence senior leaders, and make dense technical topics land with non-technical audiences
  • Technical fluency to sit alongside Engineering and Data Science Leads on journey design, integration patterns, non-functional requirements and model choices
  • Strong analytical skills: you frame the right success metrics, run structured experiments (e.g. control or holdout groups) and measure outcomes
  • At ease with ambiguity – you align many stakeholders, cut through competing priorities, bring sound business and technical judgement, and keep momentum when the path isn’t fully mapped.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field
  • Proven success building and scaling products in payments, banking, financial infrastructure, or a relevant domain such as commerce platforms
  • Proven experience delivering products that operate at significant scale with strict requirements for uptime, performance, and security
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving market
