Purpose of Position

Build, activate and scale strategic channel partnerships that accelerate and amplify Awin’s growth – leveraging existing tech-partner and publisher relationships to add value for the clients they refer to us, and forging new partnerships with agencies, tech platforms, consultancies and industry influencers positioned to refer and resell Awin, delivered by a seller who owns commercial outcomes and creates a win-win-win for client, partner and Awin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate partner-sourced pipeline. Own, build and grow a partner-sourced pipeline and revenue target, proactively hunting and qualifying new partners to the same standard as our best individual-contributor sellers.
  • Build new partnerships. Identify, engage and win new strategic partners – agencies, e-commerce and technology platforms, consultancies, resellers and industry influencers – positioned to refer and re-sell Awin.
  • Monetise existing partnerships. Turn existing tech-partner and publisher relationships into active referral and co-sell channels, unlocking untapped commercial opportunity.
  • Understand needs & create value. Run strong discovery to understand partner and end-client needs, then translate them into a compelling, value-based case for how Awin creates measurable value.
  • Co-sell to close. Join partner-led customer conversations, shape the pitch and help drive opportunities to close.
  • Pipeline discipline & forecasting. Maintain clean CRM hygiene and reliable forecasting, managing pipeline actively and acting early when behind target.
  • Stakeholder management. Work hand-in-hand with the Strategic Partnerships team and influence across Sales, Marketing, Client Services, Product and Legal to land win-win-win outcomes.

Key Skills

  • 2–3+ years in a commercial role – sales, business development, consultancy or key account management – with demonstrable ownership of pipeline and commercial outcomes.
  • Strong connections in the e-commerce industry (affiliate or wider e-commerce) are a strong bonus.
  • Proven hunter mentality: builds pipeline from scratch and creates opportunity where none was obvious.
  • Experience developing partnerships, referrals, reseller or channel motions is an advantage
  • Formal sales-methodology exposure (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, etc.) a bonus
  • CRM discipline (Salesforce).
  • Comfortable using data to track and optimise partner performance.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a natural ability to sell and to recognise opportunity.
  • Excellent consultative selling – discovery, storytelling, objection handling and closing.
  • Highly self-directed; comfortable with ambiguity and building without a playbook.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Win-win-win instinct; resilient, coachable and owns their number.
  • Business-fluent English – essential.
  • High standard of German and/or a Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian) – very useful.
  • Other European languages (French, Spanish, Italian) – a bonus
