The role / impact

As a Partner Success Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer experience to established Xero partners. Your focus will be on supporting partners currently on a business plan, helping them implement Xero effectively, fulfilling their contract terms, and setting them up for a successful renewal.

You will also engage with partners to identify growth opportunities, driving their organic run rate and introducing cross-sell or up-sell possibilities. A key part of your role involves preventing churn by educating partners on product offerings, ensuring they understand the full value of the platform, and facilitating subscription upgrades where appropriate.

The team & how they connect

You will work collaboratively with Post Sales Partner Consultants to deepen partner adoption and engagement with Xero. This involves working with cross-functional teams such as Customer Experience, Sales Operations, and Marketing to optimise workflows and enhance the partner journey. Together, you support the partner’s journey to meet the commitment of their business plan.

Initially, the role will focus on

  • Developing and executing a strategic territory plan to meet and exceed revenue and retention targets.

  • Working with partners to ensure their customers are using the most appropriate subscriptions and developing conversion plans for new clients.

  • Combating churn risk through education and value proposition to detect and mitigate downgrade risks early.

  • Fostering deep relationships with stakeholders and developing multiple contacts within each partner firm.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM would be highly advantageous.

  • You are self-motivated and capable of prioritising time spent on accounts based on opportunity potential.
