The role & impact

The Manager, Partner Sales is crucial for Xero's Partner Channel, leading and developing a team of Account Executives who collaborate with Accountants and Bookkeepers. Your core responsibility is to coach and motivate your team to achieve their sales targets and guide Xero's Partners through their digital adoption journey, ensuring outstanding Partner experiences.

You will ensure your team maintains activity targets, has clearly defined account plans, and is continually developing their skills via our sales enablement program. Success is measured by team subscription and revenue growth, delivery against input metrics (like meetings and pipeline generation) and the quality of coaching you provide. You will also be a key advisor to the broader Xero business, providing insights on Partner buyer trends, feedback, and competitor activity.

The team & how they connect

The Partner Sales team works in partnership with Accountants and Bookkeepers to help them and their small business clients succeed. They focus on freeing up time for Partners and providing greater financial insight by using Xero's product and services. The team works together to achieve collective goals, supporting each other's development and challenging thinking to overcome roadblocks.

The team is currently working on
  • Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of six Account Executives to achieve their sales targets.

  • Aligning with our sales enablement program to ensure continuous skill development across your team.

  • Monitoring and guiding your team to maintain activity targets and develop clearly defined account plans for their partner portfolios.

  • Advising the broader Xero business on crucial Partner intelligence, including buyer trends, feedback, and competitor activity.

Where and how you can work

We foster a collaborative environment with a hybrid working model, requiring our Account Executives and Leaders to be office-based three days a week. While our core team days are typically Tuesday through Thursday, we offer flexibility and will work with you to ensure leadership support is always available whenever the team is on-site.
