Lead technical evaluations of Light for Big 4 firms and technology partners, including tailored demos, proof-of-value programs, architecture and security reviews, solution design, and final readouts. Translate complex accounting and ERP requirements into product capabilities, enable partners through playbooks and certification content, support strategic enterprise deals, and relay evaluation insights to Product and Engineering. Requires strong accounting knowledge, ERP implementation experience, executive communication, and AI-native working practices.

Retire the ERP.

Light exists to replace factory-era ERPs with software that feels alive. Our AI-native financial platform gives modern, global companies automated accounting, real-time reporting and financial flows that move at the speed of the business. In a short time we've become the operating core for companies like Lovable, Legora and Keyshot.

The largest finance transformations don't start with a demo. They start with a Big 4 firm or a technology partner putting Light through its paces on behalf of their clients. Come help us win those rooms and make Light the global default for next-gen finance.

The role

TLDR: Be the technical lead when Big 4 firms and technology partners evaluate Light, and turn those evaluations into strategic enterprise deals.

Before a Deloitte, PwC, EY or KPMG practice recommends Light to its clients, or a tech vendor builds Light into its offering, they test us hard: scripted scenarios, self-paced proof-of-value windows, architecture and security reviews, then a readout to their partners. You run that cycle end to end. You'll work directly with our founders, Partnerships, Sales and Product, and as an early member of the team you'll write the playbook every future partner evaluation follows.

What you'll do
  • Run partner evaluations end to end. Turn a partner's test scenarios into scripts, environments and success criteria; run self-paced proof-of-value windows with weekly check-ins; lead the final readout.

  • Be the technical voice in the room. Run tailored demos and deep dives for Big 4 advisory and audit teams, CFO-office practices and vendor architects. Own objections on integrations, data migration, security, controls and audit trail.

  • Map Light to complex finance. Translate multi-entity, multi-currency, consolidation, revenue recognition and statutory reporting requirements into how Light handles them, and say clearly where it doesn't yet.

  • Enable partners to sell and deliver Light. Build demo environments, playbooks, reference architectures and certification content so partner teams can run Light without us in the room.

  • Close strategic deals. Partner with Sales and Partnerships on joint account plans, enterprise scoping and solution design through to signature and handover to Implementation.

  • Feed the roadmap. Bring patterns from every evaluation back to Product and Engineering, and build AI-powered tooling that makes the next evaluation faster.

What you'll bring
  • 4+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant or Pre-Sales lead for ERP or finance software (vendor side preferred), or in a Big 4 ERP / finance transformation practice.

  • A strong accounting foundation: close, consolidation, intercompany, multi-currency, revenue recognition and controls. You can hold your own with a Big 4 partner or a group controller.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or Workday) and real implementation projects: data migration, integrations, APIs.

  • A track record of running structured evaluations, RFPs or proofs of concept with large or demanding buyers, and winning them.

  • Executive presence and crisp writing. You make complex things simple, in a demo, a workshop or a one-page readout.

  • Genuinely AI-native. You've changed how you work because of AI tooling, not just added it to your workflow.

Bonus points
  • Ex-Big 4 (advisory or audit) and a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).

  • Experience in a partner or alliances SE role, building channel enablement programs.

  • Exposure to IFRS and local GAAP across several European markets, and SOC 2 / ISO 27001 security reviews.

  • You've configured AI agents in production or built your own tools with them.

Probably not for you if: you've used ChatGPT once and weren't impressed, or you prefer a polished demo script to a hard question from an auditor.
