About The Role
What the role will entail
The Solutions Director will be responsible for winning new business pursuits and strategic renewals for our Global Portfolio Solutions (GPS) service line and multimarket opportunities. Knight Frank's GPS team provides a data-driven approach to support occupier clients with their global real estate portfolio planning and optimisation.
What you will be responsible for
The Solutions team is responsible for the creation of unique, data-driven real estate solutions that combine excellent technology, the best industry expertise and operational excellence to support our clients. Responsibilities include:
Working in conjunction with Service Line Leads and Subject Matter Experts, propose and implement solutions that align with our occupier client requirements.
Lead the approach, response and differentiated solution to all EMEA GPS/multimarket RFIs/RFPs (Account Management, Transaction Management etc);
Work in close collaboration with the APAC Solutions lead on global RFPs/pitches;
Leading the end-to-end pursuit process
Understanding and diagnosing the client business and real estate requirements
Effectively manage wider team (Bid Manager and Designer based in India/Malaysia) to support RFP submissions and presentations.
Work with Sales Leads to assist in running regional and global sales calls to track engagements on key targets
Knowledge Library: Oversee wider team to ensure key stats and sales collaterals are uploaded onto relevant SharePoint sites
Regularly revisiting our approach to ensure it aligns to clients’ strategic imperatives
Developing the commercial model which includes owning the pricing and resourcing structure
Full responsibility for all commercial & legal negotiations; adherence to governance & compliance;
Working with the business delivery teams to identify account resources
Overseeing the pursuit, providing support & coaching where necessary to the pitch team
Challenging the win strategy.
What experience you will need
Minimum 7-10 years in a relevant Client Solutions role or a Transaction Management Director / Account Director within an Occupier service line
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
Very hands on, able to write/create key components of the proposal, and convey solutions through writing and presenting compelling responses and value propositions.
A team player, embracing team collegiality.
Adaptable – able to support multimarket and GPS (Transaction/Account management) bids
Ability to navigate a global organisation, influence stakeholders, inspire confidence and affect outcomes.
Corporate Real Estate industry knowledge, particularly around Transaction Management, Brokerage and/or Workplace strategy.
