Who We Are:

X’s Global Content Partnerships team is looking for a driven, creative, self-sufficient and resourceful Partner Manager to join us in developing the strategies and best practices for the X’s premium content partners across the UK region that will drive new and increased revenue streams, as well as the very best content, for X.

What You'll Do:

Develop & nurture relationships, expand X’s footprint and influence with X’s content partners at senior levels across content, sales, marketing, social and business development. You should have a strong vision for the broad potential of the traditional and emerging media industries while being focused on scalable impact and immediate opportunities that result in value and growth for X.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day relationship with content partners. Examples of content partners can include: media networks, online publishers, sports broadcasters & leagues, creators, news outlets, and more. 

  • Develop cross-platform sponsorship packages for advertisers in concert with X’s content partners to drive content monetization

  • Drive innovative media solutions across both major events and daily content that deliver reach and incremental revenue to partners

  • Champion X partners internally, providing feedback on product and business processes

  • Collaborate with the sales team in pitches to and ongoing relationships with brands

  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to maximize partners’ relationship with X (product, engineering, legal, marketing, communications, finance, sales, brand strategy, etc.)

Qualifications

  • BS or BA, MBA a plus

  • Fluent English speaker, proficiency in other languages is a plus

  • 4+ years of client facing experience in media, content, and/or sales partnerships with a focus 

  • Creative, innovative thinker who is also operationally rigorous and detail-oriented

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts and processes to partners at all levels of management

  • Concrete record of sponsorship creation and partner management

  • Exceptional understanding of X as a consumer and advertising product, and how content fits into the equation

  • Firm grasp of monetization across digital media (Live, OTT, Social, etc.)

  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, legal, marketing, communications, finance, sales, brand strategy, etc.)

  • Ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management - externally and internally

  • Knowledge of the evolving media sales landscape and proven ability to drive revenue through media partnerships 

  • Well-established proficiency in business tools (Keynote, Excel) and general understanding of Data visualization (Tableau, D3, Highcharts)
