We are looking for a Paralegal to join our growing team, playing a key role in mitigating risk by providing legal advice on property-related matters across our lending functions. This is a fantastic chance to be part of an expanding team where you can contribute to its growth and direction.

We offer a comprehensive training programme and are committed to supporting a Paralegal apprenticeship for the right candidate.

Main Role & Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and interpreting title documents and providing advice under the support and supervision of Solicitors

  • Assisting in the delivery of legal services

  • Submitting applications to Land Registry to discharge mortgages

  • Assisting with queries within the Property Legal Team within the limit of their ability

  • Conducting legal research

  • Providing general administrative and legal support across the team

Skills and experience we look for

  • A passion for property law and an interest in pursuing this further

  • Ability to interact with people at all levels

  • Able to handle competing demands in a high volume, fast paced working environment

  • Proven ability to work effectively in independent settings

  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience of working in a law firm or an in house environment in a property department is desirable
