WisdomTree is seeking a Paralegal, based in London.
The Successful candidate will work in collaboration with the European Product Legal team on various projects and tasks associated with structuring, development and execution of new products and the maintenance and optimisation of existing product offerings including Irish and Jersey domiciled ETC products and Irish UCITS.
Assist the team with product launches and general responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing a variety of documents relating to new fund launches;
- Listing documentation and managing listing approvals with exchanges or regulatory registrations;
- Coordinating board meetings and collating board meeting documentation and taking minutes;
- Attending projects and product weekly meeting and updating the team;
- Organizing committee meetings, attending and taking minutes;
- Coordinating internal directors and counterparties signatures on various documents;
- Responding to queries from across the business and counterparties;
- Assisting with onboarding of new counterparties; and
- Perform research as and when required.
Assist the team with the maintenance of existing European products:
- Preparation of prospectus rollover first drafts, checklists, forms and other ancillary documents as part of maintenance requirements;
- Filing of prospectus rollovers with regulator(s);
- Preparation of first draft answers to regulators comments on prospectus rollovers;
- Approval of prospectus rollovers;
- Preparation of compliance certificates to be provided to counterparties annually;
- Updating final terms templates as required;
- Filing of financials with different regulators;
- Assisting with annual maintenance tasks, preparation of board reports and reoccurring workstreams;
- Update of documents with new financial information annually; and
- Coordinating and reviewing metal audit queries.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous 2 years paralegal experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint and Word;
- Must have excellent communication skills underpinned by a high level of attention to detail.
- Must have excellent organizational skills;
- Must work well in a team and be able to win the confidence of colleagues and others; and
- Must be able to proactively manage their own workload, prioritise, multi-task effectively and have a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
